Kwantlen Polytechnic University’s (KPU) federally funded “Acting Together” Community University Research Alliance (AT-CURA) project was selected by Senator Ogilvie as one of seven taxpayer-funded research projects with demonstrated benefit to the lives of children and youth. Dr. Gira Bhatt is the principal investigator and project director for Acting Together SSHRC-CURA.

Meiko Assoon presents his 2010 honour's thesis entitled "Actor-Observer Bias in Perception of Violence". Meiko was one of the first AT-CURA student researchers hired in 2009.

AT-CURA research assistants and volunteers helped with registration and information needs at the Gangs, Guns and Girls Training Symposium 2012.
